Member Spotlight – Men’s Mental Health Week

​Men's Mental Health Week in June is an important time to pause, reflect, and keep the conversation going. It's about creating spaces where we can talk openly about well-being and remind each other that mental health is just as important as physical health.

​To help us mark the occasion, we caught up with our Member of the Month, Murray.

For Murray, hitting the gym is about much more than physical fitness it is a vital tool for mental clarity. He enjoys how exercise helps clear his mind from work and personal stresses, leaving him with more energy and the motivation to get out and make the most of his day. He also finds that stepping up to the workout challenges he sets for himself helps bring out his absolute best.

When asked what advice he would give to other men who are just starting out on their fitness journey, Murray offered this encouraging reminder:

"Don’t feel like you have to keep up, just go at your own pace, enjoy it and have fun. Joining into fitness classes is also a great way to meet new people and become part of the community."
