This October, Lockyer Valley Sports & Aquatic Centre is turning pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month! We are coming together to raise vital funds, boost awareness, and show our support for the thousands of Australian women and families impacted by breast cancer each year.
Breast cancer remains the most commonly diagnosed cancer among Australian women, with 1 in 7 receiving a diagnosis in their lifetime. Research consistently shows that maintaining a physically active lifestyle plays a powerful role in reducing cancer risk, supporting recovery, and improving overall physical and mental wellbeing.
Through early detection initiatives, life-saving research, and dedicated support services, survival rates continue to improve, but there is still work to be done. Pink Ribbon Month gives us the opportunity to use our fitness routines for a bigger purpose and make a meaningful difference together.
Join Us for Our Pink Ribbon Event!
To mark the occasion, Lockyer Valley Sports & Aquatic Centre will be hosting a special Pink Ribbon Morning Tea!

- Time: 10:00am – 11:30am
- Where: Lockyer Valley Sports & Aquatic Centre, 136 Spencer Street, Gatton, Queensland 4343
- What to expect: Enjoy delicious pink-themed treats, special activities, and a fun atmosphere. Don’t forget to wear a touch of pink to your workout or class!
Entry to the event is by donation, with every dollar raised going directly to the National Breast Cancer Foundation to support world-class research.
